Shopping Trips to Bristol

Bristol is renowned for its choice of shops. Whether you're on a shopping break in Bristol or just passing the time during your stay, you'll be spoilt for choice with a wide range of different shopping areas to pick from.

Cabot Circus, Bristol’s newest city centre shopping development, features over 120 new shops, including 15 major flagship stores. The development is also incredibly easy to get to thanks to its convenient location at the end of the M32 and state-of-the-art car park providing 2,600 spaces.

Right next door to Cabot Circus you will find over 300 high street shops and department stores in the bustling Broadmead area. In addition to shops and restaurants, you will find all of the handy services that you might expect on the high street, including banks, building societies and cafes.

A popular precinct within Broadmead is The Mall Bristol, offering a great selection of high street stores, independent shops, cafes and restaurants all under one roof.

Just north of the city lies Cribbs Causeway and the Mall at Cribbs, offering a huge selection of shops and plenty of restaurants. A great place for a day’s shopping offering thousands of parking spaces for visitors, all within easy access of the M4 and M5 motorways.

Browse the great selection of trendy clothing shops, record stores and quirky fashion shops on one of Bristol’s most famous streets. Just off Park Street you will find Brandon Hill and Cabot Tower - perfect for a mid-afternoon break and a quick escape from the hustle and bustle.

In Bristol's Old City, you'll find the wonderful St Nicholas Market, featuring award-winning food, fresh produce, second hand books and clothing stores. Every Wednesday, a popular Farmers' Market is held on Corn Street just outside the old Corn Exhange. Here you can sample and buy some of the best West Country produce available, including vegetables, game, poultry, beef, wine, cheese and chutneys.

Just a short walk from St Nicholas Market is the Christmas Steps shopping quarter. This ancient part of the city features independent shops, stores and pubs lined along an old row of steps. Well worth a visit for a unique experience of Bristol in days long forgotten.
