Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do you require a deposit for bookings?:
A: Yes. £50 (non refundable deposit) payable on booking. The full payment-less deposit will be taken from the card nominated at the time of booking 14 days prior to arrival. If booking is made within 14 days of arrival the full amount of your visit will be charged at the time of booking.

Q: What happens if I cancel?:
A.If cancelled more than 14 days before arrival we just keep your deposit. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, then you are liable for the full payment.

Q. Can we check availability of the apartments before booking? 
A. Yes. Just click on the apartment you are interested in and then click on the check availability located above the photographs. Alternatively, you use the search drop down boxes on the bottom of the page.  We cannot always guarantee the apartment you are interested in is available but a suitable alternative will be suggested if available.

Q. How can we book?:

Q. Is there a charge for paying by credit card?:
A. There is no charge for debit cards. There is a charge of 2.75% for Mastercard and VISA cards, American Express is charged at 3.8%.

Q. Can car parking be arranged?
A. In our apartments in the bay we provide allocated undercroft car parking inclusive in the price and in the city centre it can be arranged for £10.00 a night (subject to availability)

Q. How do I get the keys for the apartment? 
A. On the day of arrival one of our consultants will meet you at the development you are staying at to check you in. Check in times are normally between 3pm and 8pm however we do try to be flexible. Check out time is 11.00am, however if you do want a later check out time let us know and we will do our best! 

Q.What is supplied at the apartment?
A: All apartments are furnished to the highest standard - professionally cleaned and bedding is professionally laundered.All bed linen and towels are supplied in each apartment. A welcome pack can be found in each apartment to get you started . We also provide washing up liquid, hand soap, toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets. However, we do not supply shampoo and conditioner.

Q. How far is Cardiff Bay from the City Centre?
A.
Located just 10-15 minute walk from cardiff city centre (1 mile away) and only a 5-10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk) from the heart of the bay where you will find lots of bars and restaurants of Mermaid Quay

Q. Do you provide travel cots?
A. Yes. When booking please let us know if you require a travel cot and we can supply this at no additional cost. However, we do advise that you bring your own bedding for this.

Q. Is smoking allowed?
A.We operate a non-smoking policy throughout in all our apartments. However, if you are a smoker please let us know and we will try and accommodate you with an apartment which has a balcony.

Q. Do you have apartments in other cities?
A. No. Currently we are only operating in Cardiff but watch this space for other cities in the future.

 Q. Would you consider servicing my apartment through acityabode?
